Tre giornate di Cinema d'Animazione, Live Painting e Performance.

Siete tutti invitati a prendere parte al fiero pasto.

The Virgnes of Pimp My Mary will move to Milano during the "Trick Animation Festival" from 18 to 20 March 2011.

Three days of Animated Film, Live Painting and Performance.

Facciamo notizia di questo intervento sui nostri canali di comunicazione in quanto i commenti di alcune persone, in risposta all'articolo su Pontifex in questione (per leggerlo cliccate qui), sono stati censurati.

Anzitutto ci teniamo a precisare che noi rispettiamo la sua opinione, ma non la condividiamo ne nel contenuto ne nella forma. Il dialogo e il rispetto sono due principi etici che stanno alla base della pacifica convivenza ed in questo caso non sono stati rispettati, inoltre siamo stati tacciati di blasfemia, apostasia e vilipendio alla religione senza aver avuto la possibilità di argomentare le nostre opinioni.
Il nostro evento è uno studio che ha assunto un carattere sociologico di ricerca che ha coinvolto varie nazioni da tutto il Mondo e che trascende dalla mera pochezza che descrive il blog in questione.
L'ignoranza e la mancanza di argomentazione dimostrata da Pontifex non fa altro che affermare e confermare la natura del nostro intento.

Dove sta la vergogna?

Se noi, con il nostro operato, dobbiamo essere considerati squilibrati, sacrileghi e satanisti ci domandiamo come possano essere considerati coloro i quali hanno promulgato queste iniziative, di cui sotto elencate, per altro create con il solo ed unico obiettivo di lucrare sui fedeli attraverso la bieca strumentalizzazione delle icone sacre.

questi sono solo quattro esempi, ma ne potremmo elencare molti altri...

Un piccolo resoconto di quello che è successo in questi quattro giorni al "Lucca Comics and Games" 2010

Primo giorno incontri con: Vasco Brondi (le luci della centrale elettrica), Diavù David Vecchiato (XL - Repubblica) e Buff Monster (from LA).

Secondo giorno incontri con: diavù Vecchiato (XL - Repubblica), Caluri (Il Vernacoliere), Roberto Irace, Christian Marra (Passenger Press) e la possibilità di cominciare a distribuire le Madonne su larga scala.

Terzo e Quarto giorno: Francesco Ciampi (Ausonia), Daniele Caluri (Vernacoliere - Don Zauker), Massimo Bonfatti (Cattivik) ed Emanuele Tenderini.

A small guide to what happened in these four days at "Lucca Comics and Games" 2010

Il progetto Pimp my Mary nasce dall’esigenza di comunicare un forte dissidio e distacco dalla commercializzazione dell’icona quanto tale. La spiritualità, per definizione distaccamento da tutto ciò che è materiale e terreno, ai giorni nostri, è diventata consumismo: le madonne che, come soldati, si ergono in fila negli scaffali dei rivenditori ricordando le lattine nei distributori automatici che vengono servite, consumate e magari collezionate. Per molte persone è molto più importante avere un’icona al servizio della propria immagine piuttosto che credere veramente in quello che l’immagine dovrebbe rappresentare, da qui nasce l’esigenza di far vedere agli altri il proprio senso di appartenenza a qualsiasi cosa piuttosto che provare a vivere se stessi: è l’abbandonarsi alla società piuttosto che il prendere coscienza della propria esistenza.

The project Pimp My Mary born from the need to communicate a strong disagreement and separation from commercialization of the icon itself. Spirituality, by definition detachment from everything which is material and earthly,today has become consumism: the Madonna who, like soldiers, stand in rows on shelves retailers recalling cans in vending machines that are served, consumed and maybe collected. For many people is more important to have a created icon built up directly from ourself reather than belive in what the image should truly rapresent, it follows the need for others to look for their sense of belonging to anything rather than trying to live ourselves: is the surrender to the society rather than become aware of our existence.
